I have finished upgrading all of our Huntingdonshire websites with our new Domain wide SSL Certificate. If you are wondering what that means? It means, you have the little security padlock showing in your browser when you are viewing our websites and the information passing to your computer from us is encrypted to give you added privacy and security.
I upgraded the five Huntingdonshire town websites yesterday with our new domain wide SSL certificate and this morning commenced upgrading each of the community websites starting with Abbots Ripton. Just 54 left to do...
I have completed updating all of the Huntingdonshire Websites in preparation of installing an SSL Certificate. This will mean all of our web pages will be delivered to your browser encrypted as an https:// page.
Old links that you may have to our websites, or to any individual page, will continue to work but it would be better if you update any links that you have to the new address so that you benefit from the new level of security.
I hope to commence the installation of the certificate on Saturday 7th March 2020. There will be some limited disruption to the individual sites as they are upgraded. I apologise in advance for any inconvenience that this may create.
